2 Samuel 23:8-17
1 Chronicles 11:10-19

The 7 points I made for being mighty men were;
1 Trust the king – defended their beliefs and fields in battles
2 Dependable – they had proven themselves in battle
3 Risk-taker – took action that could have cost their lives
4 Extra mile – they were not ordered to get water at Bethlehem
5 Believed in God given talents – used their talents and worked as a team (3 men)
6 God is with you – God helps us achieve more than we can do by ourselves (800 men killed at one time by Josheb-Basshebeth)
7 Loyalty – King David modelled loyalty to God and his men over a long time and they responded in the same way by getting the water.
