We held a movie night on the 17th and after a few technical difficulties, watched the Goonies. At the end, questions were asked and an expert emerged! Rob Scott won the quiz, well done. A good time was had by all.
Also we had a men’s buffet breakfast on the 30th at the Novotel Hotel and it was delicious. Daniel set the standard by arriving at 8:15 for a 9am start and we ate to our hearts’ content – Karl set the standard at 6 plates and everyone enjoyed the variety. We had omelettes, bacon, sausages, cereal, fruit, vegetables, waffles, pancakes, yoghurt, pastries, coffee and wholemeal toast for health. Keep an eye out for the next one and if you can recommend a good breakfast venue, please let Karl know.
