Our church is called to pray and we are going to have a special corporate prayer week coming together starting with a praise and worship night on Saturday 16th from 7:30-9:30. We will have our regular Sunday service and then from Monday to Friday, we are going to pray and sing together from 8:00-9:30 (every night). We want you to come and pray with hope and expectation.

Our vision for prayer and Dongshin Church is below

Purpose: The main purpose of the prayer ministry is to birth, initiate, protect and assure the victories in Christ for the Dong-shin EM.

Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. 2 This is what the ancients were commended for.  By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God’s command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible. Hebrews 11:1-3

Envisioned Future: A formidable band of prayer warriors who shift heaven and earth for the glory of God for Dong-shin Church, Daegu, Korea and the World.

Core values to achieve the envisioned future these are the values we hold dear!!!

#1. Become the passionate lover of Christ

Place me like a seal over your heart, like a seal on your arm; for love is as strong as death, its jealousy[a] unyielding as the grave.  It burns like blazing fire, like a mighty flame.[b] Many waters cannot quench love; rivers cannot sweep it away.  If one were to give all the wealth of one’s house for love, it would be utterly scorned. Song of Songs 8:6-7

#2.  Become the Watchmen (and Watchwomen) of the Dong-shin Church

“Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the people of Israel; so hear the word I speak and give them warning from me. 18 When I say to a wicked person, ‘You will surely die,’ and you do not warn them or speak out to dissuade them from their evil ways in order to save their life, that wicked person will die for their sin, and I will hold you accountable for their blood. Ezekiel  3:17-18

#3. Live a regimented, disciplined lifestyle of fasting

6 “Is not this the kind of fasting I have chosen: to loose the chains of injustice
and untie the cords of the yoke, to set the oppressed free and break every yoke? 7 Is it not to share your food with the hungry and to provide the poor wanderer with shelter—when you see the naked, to clothe them, and not to turn away from your own flesh and blood? Then your light will break forth like the dawn, and your healing will quickly appear; then your righteousness will go before you, and the glory of the Lord will be your rear guard.  Then you will call, the LORD will answer, you will cry for help, and he will say:  Here am I.  Isaiah 58: 6-9

#4. Become the avid student of God’s Word.

10 For Ezra had devoted himself to the study and observance of the Law of the LORD, and to teaching its decrees and laws in Israel.  Ezra 7:10

#5.  Become the intercessor who crys night and day for the children of God.

And will not God bring about justice for his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off? 8 I tell you, he will see that they get justice, and quickly. Luke 18:7-8a
